It's been a while
Holy schmolly its been a long time since I have updated this blog, lots has happened in the time leading up to today so we'll have to just make it as quick and painless as possible for you to read.
Just before my las blog entry I had decided I was going to bike to Kingston. Well since I have made that decision I have been working out almost everyday and purchased myself a brand new bicycle. My buddy Mickey C and I have decided to take it even further and add about 60KM to the trip and take the scenic route over two days, with some random camping in between, Party for a few days than return. It should be an awesome road trip, and if all goes well we bike to toronto the next year, and if we can find some time the year after that we may bike to either B.C. or P.E.I. not sure which direction yet. But it'll be fun either way.
As for my jobs I officially quit sportchek about 5 weeks ago, I couldn't stand selling shoes, or to even face the store again so I knew it was my time to step aside and let someone else handle the job. So I got my shoes for 50% off and a few pairs of shorts for 25% off and made out like a bandit. I am now working one overtime shift a week at I-Stat and that will more than make up for sportchek and than some. I-Stat is still going really well as well, I love the people I work with and wouldn't trade them for anyone else in the world. I get a month off paid in the summer and 3 weeks off at x-mas so I think this could be the place for me until I get on to the police force....Unless something that pays way more comes along.
No ladies in my life to speak of at this time, a few prospects however but nothing solid to talk about yet, so since I don't have a girlfriend I have extra cash obviously and decided the best way to spend it was to go see Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young in concert on July 8th, i'm seeing them in a 4th level box with booze and food so it should be awesome. I am also going to go see the Red Hot Chili Peppers in the same box on september 29th. However the concert i'm uber excited for is Eric Clapton in ottawa for one night onlyon september 26th, i'm sitting in the front row of the third level, but i'm going and thats all that matters at this point. It'll be the most amazing show i've ever seen. So that is pretty much everything that is happening for me in the music field at this point in time until september but you never know what is going to get thrown in there.
Also since my last blog there have been two unions in the family, My sister vicki and her husband Mark got Married late february, and my cousin Norah and her husband Brian just got married in early June. Both weddings were a whole lot of fun, and I know there were booze at both parties. I had a little more luck picking up the ladies at vicki's wedding but nothing came of it anyway as i was too hammered to stay awake, but both weddings were a total blast and I can't wait for nephews or neices to be popping out. I know it'll happen sooner or later.....I know more sooner than later of course :)
Now comes the main party of the year, The June 10th party, every year my friends and I have a major party to commemerate a joke from highschool, i'm not going to go into the joke but just let it be known that June 10th is the party day. So this year since we felt halloween doesn't come around often enough that we'd have a halloween party, how great would it be to be dressed up real skimpy for halloween on a warm summer evening....or so was the plan. It was as cold as any other halloween has ever been, which is okay because it was fun anyway. I went to the party as Amanda (my cross dressing self) even though it was cold the costume was a huge success and My breasts have never been groped so often it was an amazing time, everyone loved my drag, and the hits off julius the beer bong were well worth the cold wait in line, if it weren't for the beer bongs i know i wasn't going to get drunk as everyone were stealing beer from the fridge, but that is expected. all in all the party was a huge success and we're all anxiously awaiting our new years party in august....we have dicovered celebrating the holidays when we want and not when they fall is an amazing idea.
so until next time, live life loud,

Doris England ( May 1917 - February 2006 )
Just this past saturday February 18th, 2006 our family lost someone very special. My Grandmother, Doris England, A.K.A. Grunny or Grun passed away in her sleep. Just hours after meeting the latest edition to our family Benjamin. It was a very sad thing to lose Grunny, but although she was still the same sharp witted grandmother we always knew her body had started to go downhill and we all knew it was time for her to go. When I was thinking the other day a particular memory has stuck in my mind that depicts her character so well. I was visiting her with my most recent ex-girlfriend. Grunny hadn't heard much of anything about her but I knew she I knew Grunny would approve as all she cared about was whether or not she made me happy, that would be enough for her. But throught out the visit you could feel grunnys bond growing stronger with her and at the end of the visit as we were saying our goodbyes, she told my ex that she still had enought love left over for her. I remember that vividly because i can't remember Grunny ever having a bad word to say about anybody, she was very sweet and very kind and knew that she had the most talented grandchildren in the world, and we knew that because she told us many times every visit :) To know Grunny was to love Grunny, i've never had the pleasure of sharing my time with a kinder, sweeter, gentler woman than her. We all love you Grunny, and we'll remember you forever.

Amys Birthday Tribute
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMY!!!!!!!!!!!!! for those of you who don't know who Amy is, she is quite simply my bestest friend in the world. Today is her 22nd birthday and I hope it is an awesome one. I would first like to say that yes I was planning a trip down to see her with my friends for the weekend of the 20th, however the trip was moved to the 13th and thus I can't afford to go anymore.....but I hope you have an amazing time amy I wish I could be there. So as I was saying, Amy is my bestest friend. I have known her for a long, long time. I don't remember exactly how old I was when Amy first moved to Munster but I do remember we babysat her and her sister in the mornings before school, and we would all sit around and play N.E.S. as it was the going system of the time, so we have known eachother for a long time. Amy is probably the only person I can openly talk to about anything and never have to worry about being ashamed. She is an amazing person, we have grown up together. She is the kind of friend that even though i you dont speak to eachother everymonth, when we do talk its like we never missed a beat. I've seen it all with amy, she has nothing she can hide, i've seen school amy, home amy, rugby amy, lazy amy, hyper amy, bored amy, but i'd say the most memorable would be Morning amy......and I think Botto would agree to that as well. Anyways Amy I hope your 22nd birthday is amazing, I truly wish I could be there to enjoy it with you, have an amazing time, friends like you are one in a million, so you better move home to ottawa when you're done school otherwise i'll have to move again and it can be a hassle :), anyways amy you're amazing have an awesome day.

362 more days
The best time of year has come and gone. Unfortunatly I had to work christmas eve and boxing day at sport chek but I have a really good friend at work by the name of Laryssa which makes the job much easier to handle and more fun than it ever was before. I really wish I got to hang out with Amers and Botto a little more in m-town but like i said i was a busy beaver. All in all this Christmas was great. I got my new guitar pedal, and mp3 player a new cell but best of all I got to spend some real quality time with the family which is rare as I usually work opposite to the rents schedule so seeing eachother is not happening too often. I-Stat has given me the holidays off paid from dec. 21st to january 8th so i'm actually enjoying the days i have off from there as well. On the 21st I bought myself an early xmas gift, I got a tattoo of my libra sign, with the chinese symbol for strength in the centre of it, and it is shadowed in a nice dark blue. I put it on my right forearm and you would have to see it to know just how cool it really is. Other than these new turn of events the only new thing in my life would have to be my friendship with Laryssa. We started talking about two weeks ago at work and quickly found we have tonnes in common and since than have become amazingly good friends. we've been hanging out almost every day, although it helps that we're working the same shifts at sportchek we still make an effort even on the off days. Neither one of us is in a place right now that we want to be in a relationship and we both agreed that if we were to get together it should probably be in a year or so as we both know that our next relationship will probably be for rebounding purposes and we don't want to hurt eachother so we agreed to keep it friends right now but in the future who knows......All I know is I have a good friend in her and if we don't get together in the future the friendship will always be there, that may not sound to comforting but it is. a good friend is hard to come by and when one does, never let them get away. anyways, I just wanted to touch back from the holidays, everything is amazing and nothing could make life better right now, until next time,

a long long time
hello all, It has been a very long time since my last post, the last post kind of killed the spirit to come back as every time I did there it was to remind me of what was done. But what new things have happened for me since than you might ask, well to start off with, I'm no longer a stockboy for the grocery store. I told them I could work more hours during the holidays as I-Stat is giving me 19 days off paid. So what do they do....they knock me down to 5 hours a week on friday. So I quit. But not before getting a job working footwear at sportchek. It seems to be a much better job, I know I enjoy it more and they are providing me with plenty of hours, i work 30 hours there next week for a total of 70 hours to be worked that week. It'll be rough but than i remember that christmas time is on its way and 19 days off will be well worth it. Today should have been a momentus day in my life, however I can't change the past and today is now just like anyother sunday before I-Stat, except our Dryer broke so over the nenxt few days my sister may see more of her little bro :) I got a new cell phone the other day the number is 613 - 513 - 6837 it's a new motorolla razr which is a sweet phone but i don't know why they got rid of the flash for the camera as their older phone styles had them. oh well life goes on i guess. Still no girls to speak of everyone I meet is either 16, dull, or too dumb to know how to carry on a conversation, I remember with my ex we'd be able to talk all night for days on end without even turning the t.v. on, and never about the same subject......her t.v. was broken but we were still capable of doing it. where as the girls I meet today, if I were alone with them and we didn't have a t.v. on I don't know what i'd do. It's just strange how different one person is from the next, but for now i'll just keep on working like a madman until i meet the girl I have to be with and nothing will get in my way. I"m not one for the club scene. don't get me wrong I love to go dance the night away however, i'm not one to try and pick up a girl just to bring her home only to maybe see her again, I would prefer to find one woman, date, be involved with her and than see where it goes, but only time will tell what happens for me in that department. I guess that just about sums it all up for this blog entry, I hope you all have a merry christmas and a happy new year. I'll be thinking of all of you.

The hardest thing I've ever had to do.......
Today was a day I have dreaded my entire life. And I can actually say this because for as long as I can remember I have been telling myself we would never part. I bottled up any thought of what was to come and pushed it away to enjoy as much time with her as I possibly could. 17 Years have passed since we brought Keisha my beloved dog home with us from my uncles house. 17 years of happiness and frustrations coming to an end. I look back and can't picture my life without her, and yet I look forward and thats all I have is life without her. Everyday she devoted herself to making me happy. For those who knew keisha loved her. You may have guessed by now but we had to put Keisha down today. It was almost as though my tears were attatched because if one fell the rest came tumbling after. I have been spending the last 3 days secretly crying when I was alone because I knew this day was on the horizon and with every step I took I was one step closer. I want to write so much to let everyone know how much this is eating away at me, I want to share my delightful memories of her with everyone, but as soon as I start to speak the tears come, and the memories fade into what happened today. I want to remember her chasing squirrels and cats, bounding happily through the yard, and the look of surprise on her face after her first run in of two with a skunk. I will always remember the good times with her. I remember waking up every morning coming downstairs and lying next to her cuddling because I could. I remember when I was growing up, if I had a bad day as soon as I got home she would be there comforting me, and all my worries seemed to fade away until it was her and I staring back at eachother, and I knew I was going to be okay. I could never have asked for a better companion growing up and I know I will never have a better one. I love you Keisha and you will be missed terribly, by me, and anyone who's ever met you. I love you.
